I have used DFB/GTK+ 2.9 with cairo (and pango, ...) in an embedded device (a MIPS processor) and it was fast. Of course, it's better if your device has some kind of hardware graphics acceleration (this is common with IPTV Set-Top-Boxes and the like). The versions of the different packages I used and how I compiled them is here: http://directfb.org/wiki/index.php/Projects:GTK_on_DirectFB_for_Embedded_Systems Pedro Aguilar > > Such backend does not exist: gtk/dfb was updraded straight from 2.0.9 to > 2.8.0 during 2005/2006 by Mike Emmel for use in the Debian installer. > > regards > > Attilio > > _______________________________________________ > directfb-dev mailing list > [email protected] > http://mail.directfb.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/directfb-dev > _______________________________________________ directfb-dev mailing list [email protected] http://mail.directfb.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/directfb-dev
