Hi,

The Xorg intel driver are now maintained by Intel themselves, so you
can look at their code at
http://intellinuxgraphics.org/
http://gitweb.freedesktop.org/?p=xorg/driver/xf86-video-intel.git;a=summary

The new driver v2 is now using direct pll modesetting instead of
relying on bios. I don't think anybody have backported their work on the
intelfb kernel driver but should be fairly easy.

Regards
Sylvain
