Hi, I am trying to play video file using gstreamer and i am using directfb to display it on surface. I have some doubts.
:Please forgive me for fundamental questions but i am beginnner in this field. 1.gstreamer uses X11 windows subsystem to play any multimedia file,what is the advantage of using directfb over x11 windows subsystem. 2.In gstreamer there is default plugin dfbvideosink for video sink,how is it different from other video/image sink e.g xivimagesink,etc 3.Apart from the above mentioned plugins how gstreamer can use directfb(any example applications or use cases) or vice versa. 4.Any links to explain gstreamer directfb interfaces,examples,etc Please answer my doubts.
