Hi All, I've been wanting to use DirectFB for a long time now. Someone on our development team is working on a build script for XDirectFB which I am excited about. GTK+DirectFB will be added into Gentoo once we have an unmasked GTK+2 script. Meanwhile, I want to ask about DirectFB. How in the world does one actually use it? The documentation is quite unclear on this point. I can get some of the examples to run, and they do look fantastic. However, I'd like to be able to have a graphical environment without running X, and I thought DirectFB was the answer to that. Am I mistaken in my thinking?
