Hi, When i execute "modprobe i810fb" the following error occurs.
/lib/modules/2.4.18-14custom/kernel/drivers/video/i810/i810fb.o:
init_module: No such device
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters,
including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.
You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg
/lib/modules/2.4.18-14custom/kernel/drivers/video/i810/i810fb.o:
insmod /lib/modules/2.4.18-14custom/kernel/drivers/video/i810/i810fb.o
failed
/lib/modules/2.4.18-14custom/kernel/drivers/video/i810/i810fb.o:
insmod i810fb failed
Few lines when i executed "dmesg" is as follows.
Linux agpgart interface v0.99 (c) Jeff Hartmann agpgart: Maximum main memory to use for agp memory: 94M agpgart: Detected an Intel i810 E Chipset. agpgart: AGP aperture is 64M @ 0xe8000000 [drm] AGP 0.99 on Intel i810 @ 0xe8000000 64MB PCI: Found IRQ 10 for device 00:01.0 i810fb_init_agp: agpgart is busy
How to load "i810fb" module ?
I added the following line in /etc/lilo.conf and executed lilo.
append="video=i810fb:vram=2:xres=800:yres=600:bpp=16:hsync1=30:hsync2=54:vsync1=50:vsync2=120:accel:mtrr" to invoke framebuffer. Still it fails to open.
When I run fbset the following is displayed. open /dev/fb0: No such device
How to invoke the framebuffer? I have to develop a application as that
in the attachment.

The order in which they are compiled shouldn't matter. Most likely
just have to insmod agpgart before i810fb.
