This isn't even necessary though if I use the 75-dpi fonts provided by my
existing (Debian unofficial packages) X installation? That's what I do
currently. But the build process doesn't succeed if I don't build everything
(or nearly everything).

Also, can I redefine my keys in XDirectFB like in X? For example, I would
like to use caps lock as a ctrl key, and Windows key to send meta. I have
tried defining them with xmodmap, but it doesn't work correctly.
