I have a console like this >[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# fbset -i > >mode "1024x768-76" > # D: 78.653 MHz, H: 59.949 kHz, V: 75.694 Hz > geometry 1024 768 1024 768 32 > timings 12714 128 32 16 4 128 4 > rgba 8/16,8/8,8/0,8/24 >endmode > >Frame buffer device information: > Name : VESA VGA > Address : 0xd0000000 > Size : 8388608 > Type : PACKED PIXELS > Visual : TRUECOLOR > XPanStep : 0 > YPanStep : 0 > YWrapStep : 0 > LineLength : 4096 > Accelerator : No
When I start XDirectFB it seems that the resolution is still 1024x768 but
the screen is only 640x480. fbset -i is the same as above. The bottom and the right side
are black, and mouse can't move to it.

The 'Panning display failed!' is the problem? I use ywrap at boot params.

VGA is an on-board 'S3 Inc. ProSavage PM133 (rev 2)' but was the same with a matrox G450.
Can I get a 1024x768 screen size? (It seems like a hard coded setup.)
Thanks madar
