Hi,
I ran into trouble trying to run DirectFB on a CLE266. Use-case: I want to
run MythTV, select a movie via its frontend (that is shown via the PVR350
output using ivtv-fb). After selection of the movie, I want to watch it
via the EPIA/CLE266 TV-Out using DirectFB (so I have to switch the input
of the TV: SCART1->SCART2). However, after modprobing cle266vgaio, when I
run dfbinfo, an error occurs and I (being a total n00b at this) don't
understand why. Below, you find the output of lsmod and dfbinfo.
Gentoo linux-2.4.24-epia1
DirectFB 0.9.20 (cle266vgaio from CVS)
EPIAM9000
In grub.conf, I added "video=vesa:ywrap,vram:32" to the kernel command line.
Can someone shed some light on this? Please tell me if you need additional
information.
