[directfb-users] directfb + mplayer anamorphic playback

With directfb, is it possible to crop the sides of a widemovie into 16:9  
format and send that image in anamorphic mode to the tv?
(I can select anomorphic mode in mplayer, but "crop" does't seem to  
work...)
