So what i am trying to do is i have worked upon some dvb libraries,

I saw ATSC support in dvbfe.h, but I didn't know (or forgot?)
that dvb4linux also supports ATSC.
I just got news from one of my testers that he got ATSC running with the
dst cards for a brand new card called VP-3250 from Twinhan or Fujiplus
FD-3250
Currently there is the Fusion HDTV which does have ATSC and a few other
cards based on the 878 chipset with the Philips TUV1236 tuner
One od my ideas, is to get a small but proper application for DVB
employing DirectFB. In fact we (couple of guys as well as some support
from Aston) we are on the process of a highly compliant Conditional
Access stack which will work with all Hardware types as opposed to a few
under some existing application stacks. I have it here at
http://www.thadathil.net/cgi-bin/hgwebdir.cgi/en50221_ci_stack It is not
complete, very much in the development stage, but we have high hopes for it.
There are more ideas in this front, only time is a barrier at present.
sample1.c <547>:
(#) DirectFBError [dfb->CreateVideoProvider( dfb, mrl, &video
)]: No (suitable) implementation found!
Maybe this mrl is not a plain filename and libmpeg3 can't open it.
This should be revealed if you add the debug messages as suggested in
my previous mail. Just print the incoming filename :)
Thanks. A big one. I will add some debug statements and get back with
results/findings.
Thanks Again,
Manu
