Just to explain for anyone following this on the list, I'm writing
another viafb. The reason that I started a new one rather than
contribute to the one in DirectFB CVS is because the last time I looked
there I only found a very old version that appeared to have been
abandoned. Because I don't follow DirectFB development very closely, I
didn't know about the recent improvements that have been made there
until Nicolas contacted me yesterday.

In which case I'm not sure how I can help, as:
* The DirectFB version already does everything mine does and more.
* I have not looked at TV output yet (I'm still getting the basics
right) so I can't really help with improving the code on this one (at
the moment anyway).
