IIRC, gtkdfb in Gnome's svn includes some recent fixes that were missing 
in gtk+ 2.10.9.
Moreover, gtkdfb codebase often receives important updates, so working 
with SVN makes you be sure you're always working with an up-to-date 
version of gtkdfb.
