I've got a matrox g450 that gives me a refresh rate of just above
59.6 hz, but I really want to get 50Hz.

my /etc/directfb looks like this:

mode=720x576
depth=32
primary-layer=2
pixelformat=ARGB
matrox-crtc2
matrox-tv-standard=pal
matrox-cable-type=composite

I've tried two modes in my /etc/fb.modes:

mode "720x576-50"
     geometry 720 576 720 576 32
     timings 31208 144 40 32 10 128 3
endmode

and

mode "720x576-50"
     geometry 720 576 720 1152 32
     timings 35714 32 8 46 0 136 3
     rgba 8/16,8/8,8/0,8/24
endmode

Does the matrox set its own output timing when running the crtc2, or
are they taken from the /etc/fb.modes file? The application I'm using
is VDR with Softdevice output plugin.

Any ideas on what's wrong?
