If you have already implemented your Linux FB device driver, then you can use it from DirectFB without any code modification. If you are planning to utilise Accelerator then you need to write the DFB/Gfx driver for you HW Accelerator, apart from MYFB. For integrating MYFB, the steps would be similar to using Vesa FB. That is, edit Grub.conf, so that your MYFB is selected as FB driver. Rest all is transparent to DFB.
