so, some time ago I complained about directfb 1.1 does not see the omap-keypad input device as the keyboard input, and I was suggested to apply patch for enumeration routine to make it treat any input device without any capabilities as the device having ALL capabilities. that works, but, for me, it looks like there is a bug in input device handling, since any other input processing on linux machine sees it as the usual device, and, the event device works fine. so, maybe, we need some more complicated patch here.
BTW, I saw some request here about handling dinamically attached USB input devices, connected when the application already ran. as a usual situation, in the embedded system, the main application is launced right upon startup, so it HAVE to maintain such situations. any ideas? using the openembedded environment for omap5912 board now, with directfb 1.1.0. -- _____________ Oleg V.
