I would also like to know the recommended way to do this. My desktop environment is X11.
My current solution is to run inside a VMWare image, and have my application take over the "full screen" of the VMWare window. I would prefer to be able to run it in an X11 window. -James > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of > Jan-David Schlenker > Sent: Monday, December 08, 2008 12:40 PM > To: directfb-users@directfb.org > Subject: [directfb-users] DirectFB testing in a desktop environment > > Hallo everybody, > > I have this application which is supposed to run on some embedded > hardware and I want it to render to a window on my desktop for testing > purposes.
