When my program is run, DirectFB's output confuses me: (*) FBDev/Surface: Allocated 1920x1080 16 bit RGB16 buffer (index 0) at offset 0 and pitch 2048. (*) FBDev/Mode: Setting 1920x1080 RGB16 (*) FBDev/Mode: Switched to 1024x768 (virtual 1024x768) at 16 bit (RGB16), pitch 2048
I wish to run at 1920x1080. I have confirmed via X and my monitor that 1920x1080 are acceptable for the hardware. Why does it state "Setting 1920x1080 RGB16" and then "Switched to 1024x768" ? I have an directfbrc file which includes a 1920x1080 statement. I have a mode in fb.modes which also includes a 1920x1080 mode. Further, once this issue has been corrected I wish to use 24 or 32 bit, but I'm hoping that will be easy adjustment in concert with this fix.
