Hello, all, I have been using dirvish on my Solaris boxes for three years and it worked great. Now I am considering about to use dirvish as my disaster recovery plan and just want to know whether somebody had done it successfully. My plan is, for examle, one server which Solaris 9 installed and crashed by a hard drive failure. I had a full backup on another network place by dirvish. Can I reinstall Solaris 9 on this crashed box and add rsync, configure ssh, then copy all the partitions back one by one?
Does somebody already have a detailed procedure? Thanks a lot -Winston
