Well, the ctimes will usually be different between the Dirvish vault and
the FTP mount, but what about mtimes?
Can you give us the stat output for a directory with curlftpfs and then
the same directory's stat output a few hours / a day later / a remount
later?
I just looked at the curlftpfs source, and it does seem to set ctime and
mtime in a reasonable way.
Have you seen this in the rsync man page yet?:
--size-only
Normally rsync will not transfer any files that are already the
same size and have the same modification time-stamp. With the
--size-only option, files will not be transferred if they have
the same size, regardless of timestamp. This is useful when
starting to use rsync after using another mirroring system which
may not preserve timestamps exactly.
