I forgot a crucial bit of information, make uninstall wasn't working right,
I kept getting

Cmake Error at cmake_uninstall.cmake:20 (ELSEIF):
had incorrect arguments: IS_SYMLINK "$ENV{DESTDIR}${file}" (Unknown
arguments specified).

So I just went into /usr/local/ and started purging.
