That was user error because I overlooked parts in the build-gnuradio. Then the second thing that went wrong was I expected the newer source to remove the newer files but something went wrong and I couldn't explain why. I did have to turn doxygen off when I first installed the new 3.7 build but I don't think that has anything to do with it.
