Are you sure that you are using GNU make and not another version/implementation of make ?
gnustep-make's ./configure doesn't really check/enforce the fact that you must be using GNU make, I suspect we may want to add such a check. I did not get any errors when I did ./configure but when I tried to make, I got the message "make: no target to make". If I add a target name after the word make I get an error message saying it doesn't know how to make the target name. Does anyone know what my problem might be?
