Maybe GAP would like to be involved in a joint > application as well? Oh sure, I see no reason why GAP needs to be separate. Also, GAP problems often are tied to GNUstep itself. One thing of course to do is to make a list of tasks and try to make them self-contained. i guess that this is needed? Saying "we need to fix bug X in application Y" just to discover that the bug is in GNUstep would probably invalidate the task, or can a person work both on GNUstep and GAP? The user of course doesn't want to worry where the bug is, he just wants a working application. Maybe if we speak desktop-wise there are needs that are both of Etoile and of GAP, so they could be developed once in a common framework put in GNUstep. To sum up, if GAP gets accepted into GSoC, we should sync a bit among the projects to decide the tasks.
