I think doing a bug fix release makes sense. It would be r32849 (Version 0.20.0) with r32986 and r32987 applied (I made a first attempt at fixing the bug in r32986 which I didn't like and undid in r32987). I don't see a problem with having gui at 0.20.0 and back at 0.20.1.
