Original post refers to a certain Christina B. developing binary
compatibility of ARM Linux machines with iOS 5:

If -base could run with Apple's runtime which Christina apparently ported
to Linux, it would probably be helpful in getting actual binary compatible
iOS apps running on ARM Linux devices (albeit, only unencrypted iOS apps).
In fact, perhaps iOS apps could then be developed under Linux.
