I have written a "howto install GNUstep on FreeBSD 9.1" at
http://artinamessage.wordpress.com/2013/07/06/gnustep-blocks-gcd-install-on-pcbsd-9-1/
(The article is titled "install to PCBSD 9.1", though once in the PCBSD
jail, the environment is essentially FreeBSD so the howto is 100%
applicable to FreeBSD).
And am looking forward to the FreeBSD GNUstep ports that David is preparing.
