I do not wish to take either side in this.
Let me just say that as someone new to this group who is evaluating
GNUStep to determine if it is something with which I want to devote
more time, all of this has been really informative.
So I thank you all for your comments, whether positive or negative.
I must say you are experiencing GS in one of its "down moments", it
happens cyclically, I have seen it several times in the past down of
years. Developers have their lifes with up and downs. Daily jobs which
make them busy and less busy. When this clashes together on the bad side
for more than a person, things stagnate: we aren't such a big community.
Luckily, very few people here got banned. In this case I did not felt it
was necessary, but I don't speak against it either. Banning seems to me
like the most extreme solution and we weren't yet up to this level!
If somebody continues coming back and provoking the way JJ did, perhaps
it shows dedication to this project, just totally wrongly expressed.
As often, this discussion has brought up many good points, but as of now
little action will follow, perhaps later.
Riccardo
