And what will hurting this project accomplish?  Nothing.  You are only
hurting the people who love and contribute to this project on a regular
basis.  Hurting this project doesn't further your goal.

Niel's email above is, honestly, the first I have heard of that.  It
saddens me that anyone would choose to punish this project because of their
own political stance.  I sincerely hope that he reconsiders.

No.  No one is going to stop contributing to this project because you ask
them to, sorry.  I was trying to ignore this thread after the last post
hoping that things would cool off, but I was wrong to do so.  I have loved
this project for 20+ years and I am not going to abandon it or my friends
because YOU want to grandstand and play politics on this forum.
