Hi,

I think the code is there, but that runtime was only a prototype. You can find the story of how it evolved to become the GNUstep runtime here:

Hi Tito,

I think the most recent code of etoile is nowadays here:

although I don’t see anything like a ObjC-runtime there (but something ObjC and JS related: https://github.com/etoile/ObjC2JS , but I guess this isn’t, what you’re looking for).

You also might ask David Chisnall about this (I cc’ed him, since I don’t know if he is still reading here), he’s the author of the GNUstep ObjC-runtime https://github.com/gnustep/libobjc2 and he was also involved with etoile, so he might know best.

kind regards,

Lars

Hi everyone,
Looking around the net, I ran into https://www.jot.fm/issues/issue_2009_01/article4/ where it mentions multiple Objective-C runtimes, including Etoile runtime which is discussed here: https://etoileos.com/etoile/features/runtime/, which points at http://svn.gna.org/svn/etoile/branches/libobjc_tr/code, but it seems unaccessible on my end, which made me more curious what its code looks like.
Please advise if anybody has a copy of this code that may be worthy looking into while researching on practically everything Objective-C and the works related to it so far.
Thank you.
