Our support team is working very hard to keep up to the steady flow of
incoming requests. They have recently broken off .ca requests into their
own queue so they can better handle the variety of requests that they are
getting. Response times -have- been increased to closer to 48 hours, but
they are still working as hard as they can.

It's prudent, in my experience, to answer questions on these lists as
quickly as possible - while the support queue works in a 'first come, first
served' basis, the lists speak to a community and many people can glean
useful information from the answers. And (historically speaking) it can
prevent long drawn out "bitch" session if we just get the answer done *grin*

Trust me when I tell you that the support crew is working VERY hard to keep
up to the steady pace of requests coming in. They are already working on
gaining more resources and being more effective in handling requests (i.e.
placing .ca requests into their own queue).

Matters could get so confusing at work that it is actually laughable.

Subject: Tech-supp people, please go and answer emails!

I know you tech-supp guys in OpenSRS are busy working with the .ca and
multilingual domains lately. But that doesn't mean you can throw everything
else back and ignore them. There are still many problems with .com .net .org
.co.uk that are waiting for you guys to respond and fix. I have been dealing
with you guys with some minor unfixed problems but since last week you guys
stopped giving me any response. I couldn't reach anyone and nothing could be
solved.

Don't you guys have different departments that handle different jobs? It
shouldn't take all tech-supp people to work on .ca and multilingual right?

If you have time to post responses in this board, can't you spare some time
to respond to individual tech-supp email?
