I guess you should look around on the web for some info. There are quite
many whois implementations, so you won't have to re-invent the wheel.
Probably you will find a PERL implementation somewhere (someone mentioned a
Debian WHOIS script on this list I think) that you can convert to PHP...
...and than you can give it to me so I can make a PERL module out of it :-)
