I was reading in the FAQ's about transferring ownership of a domain. It
says it's as simple as the current owner giving the login info to the new
owner.
Is there nothing more formal than this? Are there no checks to make sure
that the new owner agrees to the agreement? What stops the current owner
from still being bound by the agreement?
Another question, since the transfer I want to do would be from a customer
to me (RSP) how do I cover my butt so it doesn't look like I just stole his
login info. Should he fax me the info with a statement that he is
transferring the ownership? Would that be enough?
