Hello Jennifer,
I've performed several dozen transfers with both NSI and OpenSRS. I
prefer OpenSRS because of the ease and speed of transfers, the friendly
and effective customer support, and the low cost for same day transfers.
NSI will usually take weeks and if you make a minor mistake, it takes
more weeks to fix it. This helps to sell their 48hr turnaround, for $295
or so.
I have a standard agreement that I sign with my customers. It's short and
sweet and to the point. The agreement adds the necessary formality and
documentation without having to suffer through Network Solutions bad
attitude and extremely slow transfers. I also provide detailed email
instructions to my customers.
