I actually wanted to say the same thing without being ungrateful... I felt
that OpenSRS opened up domain name registrations at a cost that was
commensurate to the product, rather than based on what the market would
bear. The $99 certificate price tag sounds to me -- I could be wrong --
like a price tied to the competitor's pricing and unrelated to the
associated costs and fair margins.

Domain Name Registration services are presented through OpenSRS almost
as a public service; making it accessible to everyone at a fair price. Is
Tucows/OpenSRS positioning for a more traditional "what the market will
bear" attitude about certificates?
