Poppycock! We have been able to move NSI registered domains up to 5 weeks after expiry (with fingers and toes firmly crossed, of course...but kids, I don't recommmend trying this a home - it hasn't *always* worked) Jo Shea Danjo Creations [.com] [.net] [.org] [.ca] [.co.uk] [.org .uk] [and very soon .tv] Leave Network Solutions in the dust! http://danjocreations.com -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Jorge Biquez Hello. I'm sorry to ask this here but I didn't find the answer to my question on the FAQ. I have a client that registered a domain with NSI almost 2 years ago. He accepted my suggestion to move his domain to OPENSRS and he called NSI telling them he will not renew the domain with them. They told them that he can not move the domain since the domain alreday generated "paperwork" and that he has to pay at least one more year and then move if he wants. His domains expires on Feb, 11th 2001 according to NSI's whois. Is this normal?. I mean. If you want to move your domain from NSI with another register, you need to do it with "how many" days in advance? If we move the domain is there any risk that we lose it or has problems with it? Thanks for your comments. JB
