It sounds like you were lucking. I have heard many reports of people
paying netsol then transferring prior to netsol recording the payment and
adding a year, then the transfer goes through and the year paid to netsol
can no longer be added and on top of all that, netsol says touch luck, we
don't give refunds.
In your case, I suspect their new policy of denying transfers if not paid
was a good thing. At least you won't lose the year you paid netsol for.
