The $199 is for 48hr turnaround. I've had 3 customers opt for that
service and the quickest was completed in 4 days. It seems that the 48
hours starts two days before they complete it, not 48 hours from when you
initiate it. Typical NetSol B.S.
Go with the Registrar transfer via OpenSRS, update the whois record
yourself, create a new profile and instruct your client on how to go in
and change the username/password to secure control.
Otherwise, you could go with Netsol's free transfer which will take from
6 weeks to 6 months or more. I've performed dozens of registrant
transfers over the last 2-3 years and now will only use OpenSRS.
