domains onhold until payment done

Just curious
Is placing domains on hold and waiting for payment
few days only prerogative of NetSol ?
Can OpenSRS system do that, or maybe in future ?
Two or free days of holding domain would be very useful
for those RSP who work with invoices only.
Also about OpenXRS - is there that possibility ?
