We have an opportunity to table draft language that will ideally address
the issues we've talked about concerning chargebacks on domain names that
have been registered through the ICANN/NSI SRS system via registrars.

I'm hoping that we can use this opportunity wisely and pass on some great
language that will make all of our lives easier.

To kick things off, I'd like to iterate around this language with the
members of this list...

"In the event that SLD holders chargeback payment for services rendered,
or otherwise do not fulfill their payment obligations, Registrars and
their agents are not obligated to continue providing the registration
service and may seize control of the domain name registration for the
purpose of securing payment from the defaulting party."

Keep in mind that whatever we come up with, that all we want to accomplish
is to ensure that everybody gets paid and no one gets screwed. Under no
circumstances do I want to set the stage for auctioning, secondary market
sales etc. through this particular mechanism.

Let's get the feedback rolling!

Thanks,
