Here is an interesting one...

first a bit of background:
the domain idontknow.com was switched to opensrs a while ago, as where the
name servers sphynx.idontknow.com and idk.idontknow.com

this weekend we where forced to renumber (lucky us)
and we made the host changes at OpenSRS for the domain and the changes took
effect in a reasonable amount of time, by the next day they showed up as
authoritative, and all domains registered with opensrs seem to be working fine.

Because we still have a few customers that want to keep their names at NSI
(yuck) we put in a host change there, well its been 3 days and nothing but
the "we got your message" email with a tracking number.

So I called them today, after 30 minutes of holding I spoke with someone
there that offered to "expedite the process" for $29.95, so I grilled the
poor droid on the phone, and it turns out that "a registry problem" was
encountered and her supervisor would need to deal with this change directly.
and no $29.95 fee would be charged (amazing what bit of assertiveness can
get you) :)

Anyone here have access to the registry that can see exactly what error
happened?

so here is my question, can sphynx.idontknow.com and idk.idontknow.com
registered as hosts with both Netsol and Opensrs without causing problems?

or did something else happen that prevented the host change from taking place.

I know of other customers with domains in the same situation, and I'm
hoping to make it easier for them to switch in the future.

any thoughts?
