Check for reg_period in Client.pm and in the code.
We strongly suggest using reg_system.cgi unless you're planning on writing
your own codebase. register.cgi is meant as a barebones system - more of
an example to show the minimal functions needed to register domain names.
register.cgi ignores any settings you have for immediate or pended
registrations - and there is no hooks for CC processing or emailing
orders.
