Currently I understand the market share in domain industry is highest for
NSI followed by Register ?
Do we come third !
Anyways does anyone know where can we get such stats. It would be
interesting to follow these registrars and their market share :). It looks
like Pepsi/Coke stuff now :). Everyone wanna have one ! Anyways is their any
prediction about bankrupcy in this field ? For example what I have heard is
as follows :
80% NSI
10% Register/Bulkregister/OpenSRS
10% Rest 50 or so !
(my stats might be wrong)
So what will happen to the rest 10% ? I have seen a company as ICANN
accredited registrar with the Top 5 of the company not knowing how does a
domain name system works :) and niether interested in knowing. They lie in
the last 10% for sure. That is what makes me wonder as what general people
think about how many company might just run out of cash and enthusiasm ? And
the biggest of all - What happens to their POOR customers ?
