The purpose of this message is to clarify how we communicate various 
messages to our RSP's. This message supersedes all previous protocols.

- Live reseller notification - we have a system that sends a message to all 
live resellers. Resellers control where these messages are directed, by 
selecting "Emergency Contact Information", then "System Status 
Announcements" in the RWI (Reseller Web Interface) on our live system. This 
will get a message to all live RSP's who have configured this setting 
appropriately (by default it is populated with your technical contact 
info). This is used for:

: downtime announcements (scheduled and unscheduled)
: new release information
: critical operational information

Please make sure you have correctly configured this setting in order to 
receive announcements.

- [EMAIL PROTECTED] - this is a open subscription based mailing 
list, anyone can join. As a result of this, only certain messages will be 
sent using this medium:

: press releases of new functionality
: general information about OpenSRS

Note that downtime announcements and critical operational information will 
not be posted on this list.

- Network status (in development) - this web based interface will be made 
available to all live RSP's, it will contain archived announcements and 
details relating to downtime and critical operational information
