Completely agree - the downtime came at a crappy point in the day - Scott
was out to lunch and my head was glued to the phone with NSI etc. keeping
on top of the downtime - discuss-list was the quickest and most immediate
solution to my problem.

I'm going to spend a little bit more time in the coming days to make sure
that we have enough channels out to our RSPs that deal with these sorts of
incidents appropriately - I must confess that I didn't read Scott's letter
a few days ago all that closely and this may just be a matter where I
should have paid closer attention to ensure that the message went through
already established channels...
