Not true.  You could use enom.com.  Or even joker.com.

If price is the main issue.

Both of which will provide you a lower price, depending on your volume.
Unless you only register a few domains a month.  But if that is the case,
price should not matter that much.

There are other major problems with the OpenSRS system, besides price.  But
like price, they are better discussed directly with OpenSRS.
