Having Icann change things could take a Long time.
Scott Allan from Opensrs has said that opensrs will provide a solution to
this problem. (IMO, it's a security hole.) Contacting him directly might
show how many resellers are concerned about this, and perhaps bump up the
ETA for the solution.
