That's ok Colin, and I appreciate you not jumping on the flame-train. But...

..y'see, you're doing it again here. You're categorising me, and worse,
you're putting me in the wrong category - I don't primarily use the SRS as
for internal domains, just "a good proportion", and although price is quite
definitely a factor, the low technical barrier certainly isn't, by any manner
of means. I've chosen not to implement a -rwx---r-x client for the simple
reason that I don't have an online merchant account as yet. Period.

I'm sorry if this appears picky, and this isn't even about the issue in hand
at this stage, but it *is* about coming at it logically and fairly. I don't
like the idea of putting different "types" of RSP into a box, and
categorising. I think that if you asked RSP's to show you their business
plans, you'd get a multitude of different ones, most likely all very
different in their aims and actions.

But that is what in effect you're doing, and that's the reason I brought you
up on it. We all have different requirements, needs and wants here. It's not
bulk versus convenience, or me versus you, or us versus them, or anything
like that. It's what's best for the majority of RSP's, with maximum
convenience and minimum inconvenience. It's a grey area in other words, and
not one that can be solved by categorising.

Y'see, you say that you don't mean to generalize - and I believe you, I don't
think you do - but saying things like "people like you" is generally
recognised as dodgy ground to be walking on public mailing lists. People like
who? Me? I'm my own man, and I'm not "like" anyone. I have my own TODO, my
own business plan, my own features I'd like to see added or removed to or
from the SRS. Again, I realise that this may sound picky, but I don't like to
be categorised, and most people I know feel the same way.

That's ok Colin, and I hope you'll appreciate that I'm not trying to flame
you or anything. I don't flame, I think it's a waste of time and effort. But
I *do* like to make sure that threads like this are fair and evenhanded, and
I thought that you were, well, treading on dodgy ground. :)

"Weekend"... hmmm... now I've heard that word before somewhere. Explain that
to me again... ?
