Adam,
Apologies if I seemed disrespectful. It certainly wasn't my intention.
I guess I was trying to get across the point that there are RSPs who
primarily use the SRS for internal domains ... such as yourself. For these
people, OpenSRS's relatively cheap price and low technical barrier are
great.
And then there are RSPs who use the SRS to primarily resell domains ... such
as me. For these people, OpenSRS's low barrier is also good, but I think
the kicker is that the price is relatively low ... especially compared to
ICANN accredidation. It means we can bundle domain registrations with our
other services, or add them on at a low price, or whatever.
I don't mean to generalize ... but hey, *everybody* generalizes! ;) For
people like you, I imagine more services from OpenSRS is good. For people
like me ... well, I don't know yet.
Please don't interperet my comments as me suggesting how you should run your
business ... or how OpenSRS should run theirs. I wouldn't presume to do
that, so sorry if that's what it sounded like.
Now, everyone have a good, *relaxing* weekend! :)
