Florian,

1) You already can. As soon as a domain has been accepted as registered or 
transferred in the OpenSRS system, it's immediately available in the OpenSRS 
WHOIS.

2) I realise you're really keen on OpenSRS, but this is not the place to make 
feature suggestions or bug reports. Please post them on the dev-list.
