Yeah, the most important point.

This depends on many things... (and we should not forget that the decision
might even be withdrawn later, even though I find this unlikely.)

- there was a remark about "finalizing the agreements by dec 31. is desired"
So, maybe January?
- there was a remark that the public discussion board on the new gTLDs
"should stay until March" So, maybe April?
- there was yet another remark which suggested that ICANN staff need 6-12
months to settle everything with the new applicants
- there will be (in fact there *is*) a new board leading ICANN, they might
mix us up even more
- registars could push the issue forward; for example TUCOWS has a ready
affiliate network and they can make an operating root registry in a week
(What am I talking about?? A week???? THEY CANNOT MAKE A ***** UPGRADE TO
THE SERVER CODE SO THAT IMMEDIATE AND MANUAL REGISTRATIONS CAN TAKE PLACE AT
THE SAME TIME!!! :-))) Okay, only joking.) - that is why the dot-moo project
was summoned - so "technically" they are ready, they are accredited, they
can say "go ahead ICANN we are ready".

This all boils down to one thing: there's only one person who knows when we
will be able to register .info: Big Oooorzhaaagh'laa, the Bwana of all
Mogh'tlons! But Big Oooorzhaaagh'laa has been dead for some time now, so all
we can do is watch out for ICANN (and TUCOWS) updates.

Aaaaarghhh I do not want to wait! I *love* dot-info! Gimmegimmegimme!!

...Erm... sorry. I've just had a coffee. A very strong one. And my reseller
password is: ...

- Csongor
ps: Notice the gTLD "coop"? It is a woody TLD. coop. coooooooop. I like it.
And .museum. Moooooo-Seum. But I hate .biz. .biz is tinny. [(C) Monty
Python - and sorry for the SPAM, guys!]
